Perhaps you're down or anxious? Maybe you're unsure about the future of a relationship, or just feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead? Whatever your needs may be, psychotherapy can help with a wide range of challenges and personal struggles, and I am here to offer you this support.
I offer a free initial online Zoom session to assess the kind of support that is most suitable for your needs. Hourly rates are available on request. Concessions may be available.
"We don't have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to."
We can't change the past, but we can change how we experience and relate to it in the present. Likewise, a lot of time is often spent in negative thought patterns worrying about what hasn't happened yet in the future.
Reality is only ever experienced in the present, and mindfulness-based therapy in particular brings us back to this, allowing for us to be with whatever is happening for us in the here and now, in our bodies and minds.
It is in working through what is present for us at any given moment through our direct experience that real opportunity for change and personal growth occurs. It is in this space that we can let go of thoughts, perceptions and world views which no longer serve us.
Through this, pain can be released and trauma untangled, leaving us free to move forward with our lives in a more fulfilling way.
I offer weekly individual therapy online, in Central London or Clapham to people who are struggling with any number of issues, including stress, anxiety, burnout, relationship problems, depression and trauma. I offer a down to earth, non-judgmental, open and compassionate space for therapy where you can feel safe and at ease.
I am a UKCP Psychotherapist in training with a humanistic, client-centred and integrative background, and a particular focus on mindfulness. I am also a fully qualified and part-time practising lawyer in the City of London. Therefore, although my practice is of course open to anyone, in particular, I fully understand the challenges faced by busy professionals (and their families) who are putting in long hours at work while trying to lower their stress, keep relationships going, and enjoy their lives.
I am currently completing a MA in mindfulness-based psychotherapeutic practice, through Middlesex University and the Karuna Institute. I have also worked as a Trainee Psychotherapist at Priory Hospital, Roehampton as part of my training.
